Every Knee Shall Bow

Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear. They will say of me, 'In the Lord alone are righteousness and strength.' Isaiah 45:23-24This chapter of Isaiah has repeated occurrences of "This is what the Lord says..." An expression which signals divine authority and sovereignty. There is a finality when the Lord speaks and acts. In this chapter God anoints a Gentile king as His servant to do what the Lord requires. This was revolutionary in the theology and self understanding of Israel. How could God choose a non-Jew to do His will? And the answer is simple, The sovereign Lord is free to choose whoever from among His creation to do His will. God is God of all the world and His salvation is for all peoples. So watch out Christians, if you refuse to do what the Lord asks of you he can do without you. In verses 23-24 it is re-emphasized that there is no authority above the Lord, and salvation is in no other but Him; ultimately every nation must submit to divine authority. Another tremendous aspect of this truth is that when the Lord declares you righteous and saves you there is none to revoke or nullify what God authorizes." ...I am the Lord and there is none other..."

Therefore God also highly exalted him, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11The Coming Messiah, crucified and resurrected Lord Jesus fulfilled the prophetic word of Isaiah. And here in Philippians 2 the apostle declares by divine inspiration that salvation is in no other name but in Jesus Christ. And on the day of judgment everyone including atheists, agnostics, Satanic cult, and those of all other religions must bow before the Lord and acknowledge His sovereignty. What a day that will be? People wil want to start all over again, to go back to mortality only to find they have blown their opportunity, like the parable of the rich man and Lazarus= Luke 16.19ff.
To day is your day to confess Jesus Christ as Lord, repent of your ungodliness and live the rest of your life to the glory of God. If you take seriously, the word of God , do it today. Glorify God in your life for in fact there is no other.

Blessings!!!
