God Is Reaching Out To Save You

I was ready to be sought out by those who did not ask, to be found by those who did not seek me. Isaiah 65:1
Here is monotheism at its best. Even those nations outside of the ‘covenant relationship have not fallen off the divine radar, nor escape His salvation, mercy and love. Unknown to them God is reaching out to them in their acts of idolatry, and obstinacy with the hope that they recognize Him. see v.8 “… As when juice is still found in a cluster of grapes and men say, Don’t destroy it. there is still yet some good in it’, so will I do in behalf of my servants I will not destroy them all.” What a blessed word of hope for the Gentiles and unsaved, God is reaching out to save you, open your eyes and see Him. Since God is so merciful, the Church must reflect who God is.

Jesus saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, ‘Follow me.’ And he got up and followed him. Mark 2:14
If you are following closely the trend of thought and interacting with the texts, then you must feel like saying praise the Lord. Tax collectors were despised for different reasons. And the spiritual and devout Jew would not want to have them as close associates. But here comes Jesus Christ, the sinless, perfect, holy, anointed One, Son of God, Son of man etc, calling out to a tax collector and inviting him to become a part of His close circle of friends. Wow! Do you think you really know who Jesus is? When He says-‘you must love one another as I have loved you’ that is exactly what He means. Go and do likewise.

Blessings !!
